Davao Dencio's Hilltop

Another great weekend for me to take pleasure, this time we went to Dencio’s Hilltop. It’s actually a restaurant but somehow it’s located at the top of the hill so people merely called it Dencio’s Hilltop. It is located at Diversion road Brgy. Langub, Ma-a Davao City. The best spot there is the place where you can see the breathtaking view of the town and at night all you see is the glittering lights of Davao City. Indeed Dencio’s is a relaxing place to visit, sight seeing, unwinding and forgetting your diet meal for just one day. Lots of food to taste but I merely preferred their seafood delicacies.

 “Dencio’s Hilltop will be open only until September 30, 2011. We’re sad to see it closed after 10 years. We thank you for making Dencio’s sa Hilltop a part of your lives.” I just read this quote in their site and it made me sad I do hope this isn’t true and if it’s true I’m hoping they going to change their mind. Too bad, Dencio’s hilltop is one of the best restaurants I’ve visited. Somehow I’m happy that I’m able to experience to eat and enjoy some moment there with my friends and family.

Davao Gap Farm Resort

The last time I went here is way back when I was still in prep school. It was our Field trip during that day. Nowadays, I only pass in Gap Farm every time we detour to diversion road.

There were a lot of scenic views in Gap Farm, inside there are animal statues that you can ride, and they’ve called it Parades of Philippine Animals. Also they have the statues of the different kinds of native tribes in the Philippines but among them the most popular are the statues of their mystic spirit creatures including the cave of one-eyed giant cyclops. Gap Farm is located at Ma-a Davao City along in the diversion road. It has a swimming pool too that makes you unwind for its forest aura.

Until now Gap Farm serves as an educational tour for most of the schools not just here in Davao but in other places too who comes here in the Land of Promise. Aside from field trip, there are photography hobbyist chooses this place to conduct their photo shoot.

Holiday Gym and Spa Wall Climbing

Last Saturday, we had our Health and Fitness program at Holiday Gym and Spa at Torres St. Davao City. We have this company activity every once in a month, we already tried swimming and badminton others tried boxing and basketball as well. Now, we tried one of their exciting sports and that is wall climbing.

The height of the wall is tall enough for newbie like us, I failed to reach the edge on my first attempt but on the second try just like what Lady Gaga said “I’m on the edge of glory, and I’m hanging on the moment of truth”.

Wall climbing is remarkably fun it’s a way to conquer those who have fear of heights too.

Wynaut

 

Ever wonder Wy? For those who don’t know about Wynaut yet – Wynaut is a pokemon creature whom I like. Wynaut is a small, cyan colored with a balloon-shaped body pokemon and evolved into Wobbufet. Wynaut are always smiling, even when they’re not happy. As a result, it communicates its emotions through its tail. If Wynaut is slapping the ground with its tails, means it is angry. Oh well, so much for this introduction 

I had an eyed on this pokemon since its first appearance of the episode entitled “Why? Wynaut!” the name sounds unique therefore Wynaut use it? For that reason, this is how Alisa Wynaut era started.

Thank God It's Friday

After from our stressful work, we decided to go to church at San Pedro. Since I brought my camera, I had the opportunity to take a few shots of the astonishing altar of the cathedral.  

 

After mass, I went home and had a dinner. They left me some watermelons and made fun with the seeds.

When I got home yesterday exhausted from work, my mom asked me if I already ate those yummy doughnuts down there. My eyes twinkled as soon as I’ve seen them, very mouth watering, yummy and sweet. My stressful day has gone away! Thanks Krispy kreme you made my day complete! :)

Mindanao Toy Convention Cosplay event 2011

It was an awesome experience to witness the 2nd Mindanao Toy Convention Cosplay event at Gaisano mall Davao last Sunday. Lots of people who participated in the said event showcase their striking costume, props and as well their talents and of course we were there to support our friend Xiao who cosplayed as Noel Vermillion even though she didn't join the contest. Too bad I wasn't able to bring my camera so credits to Onyotzki Tamalzki who took all the pictures through his phone, without him there's no such concrete evidence that we were there.
